Position Overview: As a Family Law Associate Attorney, you will handle a variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, property division, domestic violence, and more. This is a full-time, in-office position, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Maryland (required).
- Seeking 2-5 years of family law experience.
- Strong litigation and courtroom skills.
- Excellent legal writing, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- A client-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality representation.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of family law matters from start to finish.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Attend hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations.
- Work closely with clients to develop case strategies and provide guidance throughout the legal process.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure excellent client service.
