Junior Dean Of Culture (2025-2026)

Hebrew PublicPhiladelphia, PA
$60,000 - $70,000Onsite

About The Position

The Junior Dean of Culture is a highly visible, proactive leader who drives joy, safety, and belonging while holding students to high academic and behavioral expectations. This is a floor-level leadership role as much as it is a management role: the Associate Dean will be present in hallways, at arrival and dismissal, at lunch, during transitions, and at school events. Reporting to and partnering with the Director of Culture, this role bridges direct student support and strategic culture leadership. The Junior Dean of Culture directly supervises and coaches Culture Associates, manages school-wide culture systems, and takes ownership of proactively planning meaningful student experiences — from incentive programs to field trips and community events. Equally important, this leader builds proactive, trusting relationships with students and families throughout the year — not only when concerns arise. The ideal candidate brings a balance of warmth and firmness, organizational skill and creativity, and a genuine love of children. Candidates for this position do NOT need to speak Hebrew. The school is eager to consider applications from traditionally underrepresented groups.
