About The Position
We're seeking a Jr Buyer to join the team for a manufacturer located in West Chicago. This is a full-time, direct hire and on-site opportunity, Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM. This role includes colloaboration with the customer service and production depratments to communicate deliveries of material, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

- Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering
- ERP & MRP Systems
- Commodity Purchasing Experience
- Sourcing and Procurement Experience
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials and monitor purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers with respect to on-time delivery
- Manage purchase order expedites from customer service team
- Work in small team environment to complete all tasks and meet department goals
- Create and maintain accurate raw material information in ERP system, including material descriptions, datasheet attachments, and supplier lead times and pricing
- Work with estimating team to get needed supplier quotes or other information
- Monitor pricing from suppliers and pass updates needed to internal parties
