About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our team. This role involves managing transactional buying processes, tracking purchase orders, and providing data and administrative support. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the company and learn new systems, with a potential ERP upgrade on the horizon.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations support.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable with repetitive transactional work.
• Basic exposure to ERP or MRP systems preferred.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in supply chain management.
• Proficiency in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions into purchase orders accurately and align orders with approved suppliers as per BOM and planning signals.
• Confirm pricing, quantities, and delivery dates for orders.
• Track acknowledgements and follow up on missing confirmations.
• Monitor open purchase orders and address late or at-risk deliveries.
• Update promised dates in the ERP system based on supplier feedback.
• Escalate shortages or date slips promptly.
• Maintain clean purchase order records in the ERP system.
• Support basic vendor setup and documentation.
• Assist with backlog cleanup and routine reporting, including open purchase order lists and shortages.
