About The Position

The Manufacturing Junior Buyer plays a key role in our manufacturing organization. This position requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and communicate effectively in written and verbal formats are required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years experience in a procurement role
• Strong planning, analytical and organizational skills
• Basic firearm knowledge
• High attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time
• Be patient, persistent, and have problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree
• PSA Manufacturing experience
• Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Excel, or any relevant ERP system
• Extensive knowledge of the AK platform

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory stock levels to meet production demand
• Assist in writing Purchase Orders and following up with proper shipping schedules with vendors
• Assist in finding new suppliers/vendors
• Assist in building/sustaining vendor relationships
• Assist in supplier/accounting issues
• Providing updates to manager as needed
• Arranges for submission and inspection of sample products as required
• Coordinates with other departments to overcome or prevent shortfalls
• All other duties, as assigned
