About The Position

The Junior Bid Associate is overall responsible for supporting the team in managing the timely delivery of proposals and collateral for all bids within the North America region. The position plays an active part within the overall Bid Team to manage the entire proposal project life cycle and drive best practice for all deals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial contract bids or proposal management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Solid commercial acumen with effective influencing and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proven experience in Proposal Management, Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
  • Hands-on experience managing complex bids and proposals on the vendor side (sales and/or purchasing).
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Legal, or related fields; project management training preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the aviation and/or IT industry is a strong advantage.
  • Understanding of airport and/or airline operations is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience leading teams and delivering under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of small opportunities and bids through defined phases.
  • Assist in reviewing customer requirements and RFP documentation to support win strategy development and response planning.
  • Help maintain proposal content quality, formatting, and overall consistency across sections and volumes.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to track required inputs, actions, and deadlines.
  • Support bid planning activities, including schedule tracking, action logs, and status updates for the bid team.
  • Contribute to proposal writing, editing, and document assembly, including integration of partner, legal, and contractual inputs.
  • Prepare and share bid status updates, risks, and issues for review by the Proposal Manager and stakeholders.
