About The Position

Good Greek Moving & Storage is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience and a strong foundation in accounting principles. This role offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within one of Florida’s leading relocation companies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjusting entries
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal management reports
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with tax preparation, filings, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing requested documentation
• Track and monitor fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and expense reports
• Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve accounting issues
