Salary is Non-Negotiable. The successful candidate will be hired at the minimum salary. The position is currently funded until September 29, 2029. Funding for this position beyond September 29, 2029 is subject to approval. The Drug Court Liaison is responsible for working with everyday court room procedures. The Liaison is responsible for reading provider progress reports to the Judge, regarding the adherence of participants in substance abuse treatment. The position is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the placement of participants in outpatient treatment, as well as residential services and its accompanying wait list. The Court Liaison will prepare daily reports and collect Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous (NA/AA) attendance sheets during the court hearings. This person maintains open communication lines with the Drug Court Coordinator, Miami-Dade County Drug Court Judge, case managers, related staff, community programs, state programs, State Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, Department of Corrections, medical practitioners, volunteers, attending clinicians, participants and their families. This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work/onsite schedule as outlined by existing Circuit policies and procedures.
