The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Responsible for the overall supervision of the JROTC program Responsible for planning to ensure all cadets participating in the program are outfitted with uniforms and associated clothing Serve as the liaison between the school and military entities such as U.S. Army Cadet Command and 5th Brigade Ensure space allocation for up to 10 percent of the school 's population Ensure books are ordered to conduct classes Promote a safe and positive classroom environment conducive to learning Maintains appropriate classroom discipline Maintains poise and self-control Establishes high expectations for learners Promotes active learner participation Shows evidence of appropriate and positive student- teacher interaction Monitors access and usage of the internet Align all instructional materials to Army Regulation 145-2 (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Program/Organization, Administration, Operation and Support Use a variety of instructional techniques Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty successfully.
