About The Position

About this job NielsenIQ’s Payroll team is a strategic function that supports business success by ensuring associates are paid accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities Support the end-to-end payroll process, including: Pre-payroll activities: receiving, validating, and uploading payroll inputs. Payroll processing and calculations. Post-payroll activities: accounting entries, monthly reconciliation with Finance, and CFDI processing. Assist with off-cycle payrolls, such as Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo), profit sharing (PTU), and other special calculations. Respond to employee payroll inquiries through established systems and communication channels. Support compliance with statutory and internal payroll regulations. Assist with Social Security processes (IMSS), including: Registration of new hires, terminations, and salary changes. Medical leave tracking and validation. Support with SUA, ISN, and FONACOT calculations and payments. Support payroll-related benefits administration, including saving fund, food vouchers, gasoline vouchers, and other benefits. Provide support to the LATAM Regional Payroll Team when required. Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives as needed. You will be part of a team of skilled payroll professionals supporting both local and global payroll operations, contributing to the continuous improvement of the employee experience.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in payroll or related roles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; experience interacting with management is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of Mexican payroll legislation, including LFT, LISR, and LSS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • English: ability to hold conversations and attend meetings is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with STRADA and/or Workday is an advantage.
