About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions that meet the business requirements of the organization. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, managing IT systems, and ensuring the efficient operation of IT services. The IT Analyst will work closely with other IT professionals, end-users, and management to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT analysis, systems administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proven experience working with cross functional teams to complete daily tasks and projects.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other employees.
  • Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise.

  • Experience with IT project management and system implementation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and design IT solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Develop and document system specifications, workflows, and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure systems meet business needs.
  • Provide second and third-level support for IT systems and applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and management of IT projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Document and report on project progress and outcomes.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches on IT systems.
  • Ensure systems are compliant with security policies and regulations.
  • Manage software and hardware inventory, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records.
  • Develop user manuals, training materials, and documentation for IT systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on new and existing systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to maximize system efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to protect organizational data.
  • Monitor for security breaches and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
