About The Position

Money should move as easily as data. It doesn't today. Technology is finally catching up to the need — customers expect instant, global, programmable money. HIFI exists to fix that. Our mission is to make money programmable by default, and to give developers and businesses the tools to move value at software speed. We're rebuilding the financial plumbing of the internet from the ground up. As an Account Executive at HIFI, you'll own the full sales cycle — from first conversation to signed contract — with fintech platforms, marketplaces, neobanks, payroll providers, and enterprises building the next generation of global money movement. This is a technical sale. Our customers are builders and decision-makers who care deeply about infrastructure, reliability, and compliance. You'll need to earn their trust by understanding their problems, not by reciting a pitch deck. You'll work closely with our engineering and GTM teams to navigate complex deals and close business that lasts. We bias toward motion. Pipelines don't build themselves.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in fintech, payments, developer tools, or financial infrastructure
  • Proven track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in a technical environment
  • Comfortable selling to both technical buyers (engineers, CTOs) and business decision-makers
  • Self-starter who can build pipeline from scratch, not just work inbound leads
  • Clear, direct communicator — in writing, on calls, and in the room
  • You execute when you commit, and you don't confuse activity with progress

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling payments infrastructure, stablecoin products, or banking-as-a-service platforms
  • Existing network in fintech, crypto, or global payments
  • Familiarity with payment rails (ACH, SWIFT, SEPA) or stablecoin ecosystems (USDC, USDT, EVM)
  • Prior experience at an early-stage startup — you know what zero-to-one selling feels like

Responsibilities

  • Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and close
  • Build and manage a pipeline of mid-market and enterprise accounts across fintech, and payments.
  • Develop deep understanding of each customer's architecture, goals, and pain points — and map HIFI's platform to both
  • Collaborate with solutions engineering and product to navigate technical evaluations and POCs
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in CRM with a strong sense of urgency
  • Feed market intelligence back to product and GTM teams — you're the voice of the customer
