About The Position

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Journeyman Process Analyst to support a mission critical U.S. Coast Guard program by managing end to end staffing lifecycle coordination, onboarding workflows, and cross functional process management. This role will serve as a key liaison between Recruiting, HR, IT, Security, and PMO leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant onboarding and personnel lifecycle activities in support of program readiness. This position will be located in Alexandria, VA and will be a hybrid position.

Requirements

  • High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Experience in staffing coordination, onboarding operations, HR support, PMO support, or similar process‑driven roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows and coordinate across HR, IT, Recruiting, and Security teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and process adherence.
  • Proven ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately, and drive resolution.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage tasks, deadlines, and complex workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting the U.S. Coast Guard, DoD, or other federal contracting environments.
  • Background working in PMO organizations or supporting project managers.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, or similar process and service management frameworks.
  • Experience engaging with senior leadership and cross‑functional program teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate creation, submission, and tracking of job requisitions across hiring managers and recruiting partners supporting USCG program needs.
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding workflows, including offer coordination, personnel data collection, equipment provisioning, and access enablement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between HR, Recruiting, IT, Security, and PMO leadership for all staffing lifecycle activities.
  • Track onboarding milestones, identify delays, and drive timely resolution of issues impacting USCG program readiness or compliance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to requisitions, approvals, onboarding tasks, and personnel changes.
  • Develop and update SOPs, process materials, and onboarding documentation in support of PMO governance and USCG program requirements.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and status updates on staffing progress, onboarding volume, and process performance.
  • Support PMO operations including scheduling, coordination, risk tracking, and project documentation.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency, and compliance across PMO functions.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational requirements, security processes, and workforce planning needs.
