Position: VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation has openings for experienced Journeyman Electrician to expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, reliable, demonstrate a desire to learn and can adapt quickly across job functions and responsibilities. Projects include well-pad installations, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, compressor stations, salt-water disposals (SWD's), plants, and programming. We are looking for candidates that want to grow and advance within our business.

Requirements

  • Industrial Electrical Experience
  • Ability to interpret Electrical Drawings and Process and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs)
  • High school diploma plus a minimum of three to four years of experience as a licensed electrician.
  • Journeyman Electrician license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
  • PLC Programming a plus, but not required.
  • Solar Powered Systems

Responsibilities

  • New electrical service installations up to 480/277 VAC, install and wire motors and transfer pumps
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and equipment
  • Wiring and fabricating electrical and control panels
  • Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring.
  • Open to travel and working a rotational schedule.
