About The Position
The Ministry Site Leader is responsible for leading ministry efforts within juvenile justice facilities, focusing on program excellence, volunteer leadership, and relationship-building with community partners. This role combines program management, volunteer coordination, administrative duties, and spiritual leadership.
Requirements

- Experience working with at-risk or justice-involved youth
- Comfortable in a faith-based, ministry-driven environment
- Organized, data-aware, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Skilled in relationship-building across diverse group
Responsibilities
- Track and improve site outcomes using data systems (YFC Impact, Hub)
- Oversee curriculum alignment with YFC model
- Ensure quality programming (Bible studies, chapels, mentoring)
- Maintain and expand both faith-based and faith-neutral programming
- Communicate regularly through newsletters and email
- Develop and lead prayer initiatives
- Recruit, onboard, and train volunteers (with Recruitment Team)
- Ensure compliance with facility and YFC/USA standards
- Lead and support volunteers in building relationships with youth
- Conduct regular check-ins and quarterly team meetings
- Build partnerships with churches and community organizations
- Serve as liaison with juvenile court staff and service providers
- Coordinate with case management services (QMHS, WellSpring Counseling)
- Build partnerships to support at-risk youth inside and outside facilities
- Support chapter fundraising efforts
- Help grow church partnerships
- Invite at least 4 guests annually to fundraising events
- Encourage volunteer participation in ministry conferences
- Complete reporting, time tracking, and required trainings
- Attend staff meetings and prayer gatherings
- Provide ideas and solutions in supervision meetings
- Act as a minister of the Gospel within the organization
- Lead prayer, devotions, and worship
- Share the Christian gospel with youth in programming
- Seek spiritual guidance for ministry direction
