The ideal candidate is strong in Java (preferably Java 17), Spring Boot, Angular, Microservices, and relational databases, with exposure to financial services or securities industry environments. The role involves designing and building microservice‑based architectures, integrating messaging systems, deploying on private cloud/containerized environments, and working within modern CI/CD and Agile delivery frameworks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in:
  • Java (preferably Java 17)
  • Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST API development
  • Angular
  • Node.js / JavaScript
  • Oracle SQL or other relational databases
  • Microservices development

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Build responsive and modular front‑end components using Angular and modern JavaScript/Node.js practices.
  • Design and implement scalable, high‑resiliency microservices architectures, including workflow‑driven systems.
  • Write complex queries and procedures using Oracle SQL or other relational databases.
  • Use message queues (MQs) for asynchronous communication and event‑driven architectures.
  • Work with private cloud deployment models, including container‑based deployments (Docker).
  • Follow standard SDLC and Agile practices using Maven, Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Write automated test suites using JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber, ensuring quality and regression coverage.
  • Troubleshoot production issues using Splunk, AppDynamics, and other observability/tools.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including QA, DevOps, Product, and Architecture to deliver high‑quality software.
