The Work: You will design, develop, and deploy cloud‑native and containerized applications using Java and modern cloud technologies. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions that leverage both cloud‑native and cloud‑agnostic services.

Requirements

  • Experience with cloud‑native development and cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable).
  • Proficiency building microservices and RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot strongly preferred).
  • Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in team environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AWS‑based enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience in DevSecOps environments.
  • Performance tuning and optimization experience.
  • Prior consulting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native applications using Java and aligned cloud technologies.
  • Implement microservices architectures and build RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD automation and deployment workflows.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability across cloud platforms.
  • Apply security best practices to protect applications and data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, reliability, and security.
  • Work closely with architects, product managers, and developers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and maintainability.
