About The Position

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Developer - This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; build applications, interface between applications, understand data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contribute expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guide/mentors the team during the build and test phases. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha, NE or be willing to relocate to the area. At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies Experience in J2EE technologies with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Web services and Micro services Preferred Qualifications At least 6 years of IT Industry Experience on J2EE technologies At least 6 years of hands-on experience, including analysis, design, development, and testing (on custom application development platforms such as Java/J2EE) At least 6 years of excellent experience in J2EE framework like Struts, Spring and Hibernate At least 6 years of experience in following Skills – Unix shell scripting, Java (core & web services) , Oracle/SQL/Stored Procedure, Mongo DB At least 2 years of experience in Angular 2, Angular 4, type script Experience in Cloud, Spring cloud data flow. PCF preferred Experience in CI/CD Knowledge of relational database/SQL Experience in test driven development and pair programming Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
