About The Position

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a leading provider of top-quality building maintenance and infrastructure services, is seeking an outstanding Janitorial Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Cheyney, PA. The Janitorial Supervisor's responsibilities include scheduling staff shifts, monitoring staff attendance, reporting absences, and conducting staff performance reviews. You should also be able to make recommendations to management regarding promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
To be successful as a Janitorial Supervisor, you should demonstrate sound knowledge of various cleaning methods and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, an outstanding Janitorial Supervisor will display effective leadership skills to ensure the timely completion of staffs’ janitorial duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Proven experience working as a Janitorial Supervisor.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.
• The ability to lift heavy equipment.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assigning janitorial tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Scheduling staff and organizing replacements as required.
• Investigating and addressing any complaints regarding poor service.
• Providing training to the janitorial staff.
• Regularly taking inventory of janitorial chemicals, supplies, and equipment and ordering stock as needed.
• Accepting deliveries, regularly moving supplies between storage areas to put them away, to stock storage areas, and to issue supplies and equipment to staff as needed.
• Screening janitorial applicants and making recommendations for new hires, discipline, and dismissals.
• Perform all cleaning duties in instances of heavy volume of work and/or staff shortages.
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule
