The Janitorial Supervisor requires the ability to effectively lead and supervise janitorial staff while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Managing budgets, ordering supplies, and facilitating payroll, as well as working alongside staff when needed to promote a positive and efficient work environment for both employees and customers.
  • The Janitorial Supervisor supervises and coordinates cleaning operations across assigned areas, including common areas, service hallways, and food courts.
  • The role requires knowledge of contract requirements and the ability to create and manage schedules that ensure properly trained staffing levels are maintained.
  • The supervisor is also responsible for ensuring all equipment is maintained in proper working condition.
  • Monitors staff daily to ensure all systems, protocols and quality assurance tools are utilized correctly.
  • Communicates to staff regularly, both formally and informally.
  • Enforces safety standards with employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Reports to Manager of any maintenance issues
  • Use of Smart Inspect for inspections
  • Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned, including providing hands-on cleaning support when required to meet operational needs.
