About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the project manager, this position performs daily, weekly, and periodical cleaning of commercial, industrial, or office buildings. The role is located at the Milwaukee Federal Courthouse and offers flexible hours on a day shift, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or general education equivalent.
• Requires 6 months experience in the janitorial/custodial field (or completion of a janitorial/custodial-training program).
• Documentation is required that details the disability, such as a Psychological or Psychiatric or Physical assessment or evaluation on the clinic or physician's letterhead with the doctor's signature.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sweeps, and mops floors as required by the cleaning schedule.
• Washes mirrors, stalls, walls, sinks, and baseboards as described in the cleaning contract.
• Vacuums, shampoos, and scrubs carpets.
• Conducts periodic buffing, stripping, and waxing of floors.
• Cleans water fountains, telephone booths, ashtrays, and janitorial closets.
