About The Position

Accuracy, timing, and follow-through matter in banking—and this role sits right at the center of it. As a full-time Item Processing Representative
at ACNB Bank, you will handle the daily processing, imaging, mail, and support activities that ensure transactions are completed correctly, records are accurate, and internal teams have what they need to serve customers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, takes pride in precision, and wants to build or deepen a career in bank operations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED, plus any education beyond a high school diploma (business emphasis preferred).
• 1+ year of experience in item processing, document imaging, or a related banking operations role (preferred).
• Working knowledge of: 1. Item processing, returns, chargebacks, and reconciliations 2. Source Capture Optimization and basic risk alerts 3. Document imaging, scanning, and indexing 4. Mail operations and inventory support
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and independent problem-solving skills.
• A customer-service mindset and clear communication skills.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 lbs., and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• SUPPORT SOURCE CAPTURE & RISK MONITORING
• ASSIST WITH RETURNS, ADJUSTMENTS & RESEARCH
• KEEP MAIL, PRINTING & SUPPLIES MOVING
• MAINTAIN ACCURATE DOCUMENT IMAGING
• BE A RELIABLE INTERNAL PARTNER
