About The Position

Join our compassionate team at Centerstone as an Integrated Treatment of Co‑Occurring Disorders (ITCD) Specialist, where you’ll help individuals facing both mental health and substance use challenges work toward stability, recovery, and wellness. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, human services field or equivalent experience OR 4 years of qualifying experience in mental health/substance use services delivery, or a combined 4 years of each.
  • Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required
  • Knowledge/experience in: Mental health and substance use support
  • Case management
  • Documentation and record‑keeping
  • Ability to read and interpret procedures, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and community partners.
  • Ability to apply basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to apply sound judgment, follow written/oral instructions, and navigate situations that involve multiple variables.
  • Build effective relationships in person and by phone
  • Accept supervision and follow direction
  • Maintain professionalism and ethical boundaries

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Complete co-occurring disorder assessments for clients entering ITCD services.
  • Offer assertive outreach, connecting clients with community resources and building rapport through practical support.
  • Maintain an assigned caseload in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Participate in team staffing meetings to establish treatment goals and objectives.
  • Deliver cross‑training to teammates on topics related to co-occurring disorders.
  • Follow DMH standards and ITCD Fidelity Requirements to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in emergency services to assist clients during emotional crises.
  • Attend all required team and organizational meetings.
  • Engage in ongoing self‑evaluation and staff evaluation per organizational guidelines.
  • Adhere to quality assurance, clinical documentation, and record‑keeping procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program success.
