About The Position

Piper Companies is looking for an IT Vendor Negotiation Manager to join a hospital system and healthcare company. This is based in Columbia, MD with 3 remote days per week.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contract/vendor negotiations or cost management; with a focus on client-side operations.
• Very strong negotiation abilities to gain favorable contract terms and cost savings.
• Strong communication abilities and highly organized.
• Experience in IT purchasing

Responsibilities

• Lead client-side contract negotiations to achieve cost savings and secure optimal terms.
• Analyze vendor proposals, contracts, and pricing models to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Establish strong relationships with vendors and clients to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
