About The Position

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in computer networks and system maintenance.
  • A+, Linux, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in database programming and software installation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
  • A+, Linux, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
  • Repairing and replacing damaged hardware.
  • Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
  • Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
  • Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Conducting daily backup operations.
  • Managing technical documentation.
  • Provide training and support to end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
  • Provide guidance to junior members of the team if required.
  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
  • Construct, install, and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems.
  • Contribute to team efforts and perform additional tasks to support department goals as needed.
