What the job is: CPI is looking for someone who likes to work hands-on installing, adding, repairing and troubleshooting IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, switches and peripheral equipment. CPI is a safety minded company thus such policies must be followed. IT Technicians will respond to requests and incidents, resolve IT issues either on-site or remotely and monitor issues from start to resolution. Installation of software upgrades and coordinating third-party maintenance for network hardware, software and telecommunications services will also be a role of this position.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from a Community College or Technical School or two years of related experience.
  • Technical understanding of DNS, DHCP, AD, Group Policy, SMTP, TCP/IP and basic network concepts.
  • Experience understanding Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software on Windows-based desktops and laptops.

  • Industry recognized certificates preferred.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations, cabling layouts, technical processes and workflows.
