What the job is: CPI is looking for someone who likes to work hands-on installing, adding, repairing and troubleshooting IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, switches and peripheral equipment. CPI is a safety minded company thus such policies must be followed. IT Technicians will respond to requests and incidents, resolve IT issues either on-site or remotely and monitor issues from start to resolution. Installation of software upgrades and coordinating third-party maintenance for network hardware, software and telecommunications services will also be a role of this position.

Requirements

Associate’s degree from a Community College or Technical School or two years of related experience.
Technical understanding of DNS, DHCP, AD, Group Policy, SMTP, TCP/IP and basic network concepts.
Experience understanding Microsoft 365 technologies.
Experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software on Windows-based desktops and laptops.

Industry recognized certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

Installing, adding, repairing and troubleshooting IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, switches and peripheral equipment
Respond to requests and incidents
Resolve IT issues either on-site or remotely
Monitor issues from start to resolution
Installation of software upgrades
Coordinating third-party maintenance for network hardware, software and telecommunications services
Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations, cabling layouts, technical processes and workflows.
