IT Technician
About The Position
GCyber is hiring an IT Technician to support a high profile DISA customer. As the IT Technician you will oversee workstation imaging and software installations while ensuring compliance with policies and supporting audits. As an IT Technician, you will: Execute imaging processes to create and maintain workstation images, build new systems, and automate software installations. Follow company and government policies for IT asset management, including receipt, issue, and tracking of materials and equipment. Support audits of government property and software for compliance with imaging requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during imaging while managing multiple IT assets in various production stages under tight deadlines. Manage the supply chain to maintain adequate bench stock and ensure timely delivery of equipment.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- BS or equivalent, including consideration of vendor certification in the technology being applied such as Microsoft MCP or Novell CNE
- 2-5 years of experience
- Strong customer service skills
