About The Position

Cross Link Consulting of North Augusta, SC is seeking to hire a full-time IT Technician to be the hero our customers need by directly assisting end users, often face-to-face with their computer systems, software, cloud systems, and cybersecurity protection. In this position, you will earn a competitive salary of $40,000-$45,000/year , based on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN IT TECHNICIAN Each day holds new and exciting opportunities to serve others in the world of Information Technology at Cross Link. As an IT Technician, you get to provide onsite and remote IT support to people that have put their trust in us to resolve and troubleshoot the technical difficulties they face. A typical day might have you at an Augusta business installing a user's new workstation, troubleshooting someone's software issue, or resolving a client's backup job failure. This is where your love and giftedness for helping people with their Information Technology and software comes into play. You will listen and assess the client's difficulty, and work with your team to implement the best solutions to their software issues, cybersecurity challenges, cloud solution needs, and so much more! You will also be participating or leading in larger IT projects and will often be a resource for our in-house Help Desk team. With your assistance, our clients will receive faster responses and better resolutions to their needs, and our whole team will shine. Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ Years of Information Technology experience with Windows Server
  • 2+ Years prior experience as an IT Engineer, Technician, or Consultant
  • Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
  • Experience maintaining Backups and Disaster Recovery
  • Proficiency with remote monitoring tools and work order systems
  • Scripting / Programming experience, esp. PowerShell and MySQL

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote IT support
  • Resolve and troubleshoot technical difficulties
