About The Position

As an IT Technician, you are the first responder and technical expert who keeps our resort running seamlessly for our associates, members, and guests. You are directly responsible for ensuring reliable, high-speed technology across all resort departments, from the pro shop to the executive offices. This is a critical role that blends technical expertise with exceptional hospitality.

Requirements

  • High-School Diploma/GED.
  • 2–4 years of demonstrated experience in Information Technology, with a preference for experience within the fast-paced hospitality/resort industry.
  • Proven expertise with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, hardware diagnostics, and foundational networking concepts.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong desire for continuous learning in new technologies.
  • A commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and hospitality in every technical interaction.
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure, maintain a sense of urgency, lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly (up to 50 pounds occasionally), and possess a strong sense of TEAM to interact effectively with colleagues and customers

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with critical hospitality systems (PMS, POS, Keycard, PBX) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Front-Line Support: Provide professional, first-level technical support across the entire resort via ticketing system, phone, and in-person, resolving issues with urgency.
  • System Deployment & Maintenance: Install, configure, and meticulously maintain a wide array of technology, including computers, mobile devices, POS terminals, and peripherals across Guest Services, F&B, Golf, Spa, and Administrative areas.
  • Access Management: Efficiently manage user access within Active Directory and specialized resort platforms.
  • Resort-Wide Systems Expertise: Maintain and support mission-critical resort applications, including PMS, POS, Time Clocks, Guest Wi-Fi, and specialized back-office applications (training provided to deepen expertise).
  • Proactive Maintenance: Perform routine system checks, security updates, malware scans, and preventative maintenance to minimize disruption.
  • Project Involvement: Assist senior IT leadership with network equipment, cabling, telecom systems, and the deployment of new hardware for exciting technology projects and upgrades.
