Our 12-week paid internship program offers firsthand experience and meaningful projects that have an impact on our business. Throughout the program, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals receiving mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities that will expose you to various aspects of our industry. Build Connections By: Working alongside our Store IT team that serves our customers, employees, and partners across North America and Canada. Collaborating with other Gordon Food Service interns and employees in the following areas: Communications Finance Accounting Human Resources IT Marketing & Merchandising Supply Chain Communications Build a Career: In the Store IT department by: Providing initial Level 1 Technical support for critical store systems, utilizing IT monitoring tools to ensure the stability and uptime of hardware, including Android-based devices and specialized retail equipment. Managing the full device lifecycle for in-store technology (PCs, Scanners, RF guns), which involves device configuration, tracking the shipping of replacement hardware, and coordinating internal or third party service providers for installation and repair. Contribute to a specialized IT Project focused on process improvement by identifying opportunities for repeatable functionality and designing a proof of concept analytical report or dashboard to visualize key operational data. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Logistics, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

Responsibilities

  • Providing initial Level 1 Technical support for critical store systems, utilizing IT monitoring tools to ensure the stability and uptime of hardware, including Android-based devices and specialized retail equipment.
