About The Position

Are you a college student interested in technology, computer systems, or IT support? Harvard-Westlake Schools Information Technology department is seeking a sharp, motivated intern to assist with technology preparation, deployment, AV systems, and support across both campuses. This internship offers valuable, real-world experience in enterprise IT operationsideal for students pursuing degrees in information technology, computer science, or related fields who want practical exposure to endpoint management, deployment, audio/visual systems, and user support in an enterprise environment. Requirements

• Is currently enrolled in college and studying information technology, computer science, or a related field
• Has a strong interest in systems administration, AV systems, endpoint management, or enterprise IT support
• Is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow technical processes accurately
• Has familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems and wants to learn about enterprise management platforms (Intune, SCCM, and Jamf)
• Has an interest in AV systems and a willingness to learn AV troubleshooting and setup
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Preparing, imaging, and configuring Windows and macOS computers for deployment
• Assisting with device enrollment, configuration, and compliance using Microsoft Intune and Jamf
• Supporting Help Desk operations and resolving basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Maintaining and troubleshooting AV systems, including projectors, displays, and classroom technology
• Maintaining and updating IT inventory records and asset documentation
• Performing workstation setup, cable management, and hardware verification in classrooms and offices
• Collaborating with IT staff to ensure smooth deployment and system readiness for users
