We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Support Technician to join our team in a full-time, onsite role based in Chambersburg, PA. This position provides critical support for classified and unclassified Department of Defense (DoD) network environments, including DoDNet, and DISA CIO/DISA networks.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen with a current DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Must hold one of the following certifications (Cloud +, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP)
  • 1-3+ years of related experience in a technical support or help desk environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with DNS and group policy.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity using common tools like nslookup, ipconfig, tracert and netstat.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take the initiative to address identified issues.
  • Ability to interface with customers and respond to requests for troubleshooting assistance.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance from Chambersburg, PA to work a full-time onsite schedule.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at computer

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of troubleshooting fiber cabling issues and Cisco EVoIP phone provisioning preferred.
  • MS Excel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide touch support for DoDNet, DISA CIO/DISA SCI network, and unclassified/classified/ Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and support for LANs.
  • Provide touch labor support on VTC equipment and fiber networking connections.
  • Maintain and track system, user, address, and network port data.
  • Assist with network documentation and user guides.
  • Support users with IS issues and develop, update, review and comment on network topologies and facility drawings and diagrams.
