About The Position

The primary responsibility of an IT Systems Integration Specialist is discovery, planning, and converting the acquired business information systems such as data collection, data conversion, processes, interfaces, and hardware/software resources to work together as a unit in standardized ERP and IT environment. Position is the IT and Systems Operations arm of the M&A conversion process who works closely with the dedicated AIM for each acquisition. We work alongside them, being their main POC for any issues in our purview.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT systems integration or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in data collection, data conversion, and interface processes to ensure seamless system functionality.
  • Strong technical proficiency in master record database management and connection protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of communication systems, including hardware, telecommunication networks, and infrastructure integration.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent project management skills with the capacity to oversee multiple projects concurrently and deliver results within established timelines.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and integration platforms/tools commonly used within the industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support cross-functional initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Technical Expertise: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise-level IT systems and integration methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with EDI Functionality: Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in managing EDI systems and processes, emphasizing seamless cross-functional connectivity and data integrity.
  • Proficiency in Database and ERP Systems: Expertise in database management systems, particularly those utilized within management frameworks, ensuring robust data connectivity and accuracy.
  • Strong Analytical Abilities: Capacity to analyze and interpret complex data sets, enabling evidence-based decision-making and the structured design of integration solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Be liaison between the business and the IT systems/operations teams gathering and converting of data and systems to standardized ERP and IT systems.
  • Assist with coordinating all acquisition related activities, calls, and onsite visits
  • Provide pre and post go-live support for data conversion as well as business operational process flow.
  • Configure and troubleshoot issues received from users during conversion and post go-live process within the IT and system configuration perspective.
  • Escalate, document and resolve issues based on comprehensive reporting and analysis of the business requirements and feedback
  • Coordinate and collaborate with local team members as well as remote users to provide technical support, maintenance and resolution of issues.
  • Work with data lead to analyze customer and supplier data specifications to provide gap analysis.
  • Work with M&A teams and IT teams to develop solutions to bridge those gaps.
  • Communicate with legacy teams to clarify IT integration and implementation issues.
  • Travel for various onsite visits including, but not limited to, operations pre-visit, conversion weekend, and post go-live follow up visits.
  • Coordinate travel details for the go live process including inventory, conversion, and training teams; Work closely with AIM for attendee lists
  • Manage and coordinate efforts of the acquisition process to ensure all IT and systems integration aspects of the acquisition are handled on a timely basis.
  • Manage post-closing activities, to track and escalate any IT related issues
  • Assist as needed with any issues requiring IT input from non-IT departments or where asked to assist by the M&A team
  • Work with infrastructure and infosec teams to assist with legacy systems and network decommissioning, discovery, tracking, and communications with legacy and IT teams.
  • Assist other IT departments with projects or tasks where bandwidth allows
