About The Position

The IT Systems Engineering Summer Internship is an onsite, temporary (~8 weeks) role, supporting the IT team.
Reporting Line
This position reports to the IT Manager.
Your Role
Learning to assist with general IT Helpdesk tasks, including troubleshooting and maintenance of IT equipment and systems
Learn and represent the core fundamentals of good IT Department customer service
Analyze and audit existing systems for possible upgrades and improvements
Work on projects such as documentation and auditing procedures to keep them up to date
Train users on best practices when using organization equipment
Shadow and assist IT Department division leaders with complex projects that impact the IT department and organization
Develop and implement systems and procedures to improve department and company efficiency and security

Requirements

• Working towards an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Science

Nice To Haves

• Some experience in IT work is a plus
