About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for an Energetic student pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar engineering focused degree for a 2026 Summer Internship. The selected candidate will be learning and working on a multi-company engineering team supporting the National Team - Engineering (NT-E) program for the Missile Defense Agency. There are multiple opportunities available on different teams throughout the program, and each has a more focused specialty. The selected candidate would be matched to a suitable team for their degree background and interests. Potential opportunities include - Modeling and Simulations - Sensors, Missiles, Command and Control - Performance analysis - Software tooling - System requirements development - Test verification - and more

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
College course exposure to Systems Engineering concepts and skills
Must possess good problem solving skills
Highly Motivated; able to perform team tasks with low direct supervision while utilizing virtual collaboration tools to interact with team
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related degree
