About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Provides 1st and 2nd tier software application support. Develops and maintains information systems, software, and documentation, including problem identification, analysis, design, testing, and implementation. Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements. Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications. Provides exceptional customer service to the users of information systems. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the general practices and processes utilized in maintaining and improving upon the applications, systems, and servers they run on, as well as studying and providing assistance with the interoperability of these systems both with infrastructure systems and other systems that are interacting with them to provide strong patient care. The Systems Engineer will establish and improve upon maintenance processes and process improvement for the tasking of the Applications team and will oversee the general support and maintenance of the systems supported by this team. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for monitoring system resources and will manage the general life cycle of Applications supported servers and applications. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years I.T. experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or 8 years I.T. experience in lieu of degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Meditech Client/Server implementation, maintenance, and support functions preferred
