Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with JDA MMS on AS400/IBM i.
  • Strong knowledge of retail merchandising processes and best practices.
  • Experience with RPG/CL, SQL, batch jobs, and system integrations preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead troubleshooting, upgrades, and production support in large-scale retail environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical and functional expert for JDA MMS, including items, pricing, promotions, markdowns, inventory, and sales audit.
  • Manage AS400/IBM i batch processing, troubleshoot system issues, and optimize performance to ensure reliability.
  • Lead system enhancements, configurations, and integrations with POS, E-commerce, WMS, and reporting systems.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, perform testing, and support production deployment.
  • Maintain strong controls, auditability, and data accuracy across merchandising and financial processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and system upgrades.
