About The Position

Based out of our Lynnwood, Washington office, the IT Systems Engineer will work as part of a globally distributed team responsible for supporting Lunit Americas, Inc.’s day-to-day IT operations; enhancing and administering Lunit’s cloud first environment across Azure, M365, endpoint management, and associated infrastructure and services. The role ensures secure, scalable, and reliable services across the organisation while contributing to ongoing IT initiatives. When this role is successful, Lunit’s business operational systems operate securely and efficiently, service disruptions are minimized, staff receive timely and high-quality technical support, and the organization gains measurable improvements in reliability, performance, and end user experience.

Requirements

  • Computer science degree qualification (or equivalent); or 4 -5 years’ experience working as a Systems Engineer in the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and positively with employees and coworkers at all levels.
  • Ability to explain technical information in clear, nontechnical language.
  • Strong problem identification and process management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to established standards.
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside normal hours to support international teams and time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally Azure and M365 certified.
  • Experience working within a regulated or compliance focused environment (e.g., Health or Finance) is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cloud-based systems including support, enhancement, and implementation.
  • Administer M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID identity and governance.
  • Play an active role in managing P1/P2 incidents, collaborating with technical teams to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
  • Contribute to monitoring, investigating, and responding to security threats in partnership with the Information Security team.
  • Contribute to endpoint and device lifecycle management using Intune and related tooling.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of BAU processes, automation, and service stability.
  • Monitor the health, performance, and capacity of cloud and business operational systems, ensuring issues are identified early and resolved before they impact users.
  • Provide technical input into roadmaps, migration projects, and architectural decisions.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues across infrastructure, cloud services, identity, and end user environments.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand challenges and drive the adoption of improved and scalable processes.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for operational support and knowledge sharing.

  • The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $98,000 per annum, full time equivalent.
