About The Position

Our IT team is dedicated to enabling seamless collaboration and productivity across the organization by leveraging cutting-edge tools and platforms. We are seeking a proactive and technically focused intern to join our team and aid our efforts in optimizing and managing productivity and collaboration tools.
As an IT Systems Engineer Intern, you will assist the IT team in managing, aiding, and improving various productivity and collaboration platforms, including but not limited to Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Office 365, and other tools. This hands-on opportunity will allow you to gain experience with industry-standard tools, enhance your technical skills, and contribute to impactful projects that directly improve organizational efficiency. You’ll also develop insight into IT operations and how technology drives business outcomes, while receiving mentorship from experienced IT professionals.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and graduating December 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Partnership mindset with the ability to work without supervision when needed.
• Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, Slack, or similar tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Powershell, or Google Apps Script) is a plus.
• Knowledge of IT support principles and basic troubleshooting techniques (a plus).
• Interest in process improvement and user experience enhancement (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Office 365, and others.
• Provide first-level assistance to employees, troubleshooting technical issues related to collaboration platforms.
• Examine user feedback and platform usage data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Document processes, user guides, and best practices for collaboration tools to help training and onboarding efforts.
• Assist IT projects focused on integrating and streamlining productivity tools within the organization.
• Stay up-to-date on new features and updates for collaboration platforms and present findings to the IT team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and recommend tool optimizations.
