About The Position

Bender Companies is seeking a motivated IT professional to join our team as an IT & Systems Coordinator. This individual will play a key role in maintaining dependable technology systems for both corporate and on-site staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly with non-technical staff, and can troubleshoot issues effectively. A background in IT systems and support, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service, will set candidates up for success in this role. The IT & Systems Coordinator ensures that all technology systems at the corporate office and properties run smoothly. This role focuses primarily on hardware setup and maintenance while providing support for key software platforms. This role also supports the company’s growth by helping maintain and improve IT systems. This is an individual contributor role. The role focuses primarily on hands-on IT support and systems assistance; advanced cybersecurity or automation responsibilities are not included. This position offers growth potential as the company expands and IT needs increase.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and email setup.
  • Knowledge of networking basics: routers, Wi-Fi, switches.
  • Experience troubleshooting computers, printers, and phones.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate clearly with non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple requests across departments, and document IT systems.
  • Willingness to travel to properties as needed (typically once per year).
  • Interest in learning and supporting IT systems as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, phones, and other office devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, Wi-Fi, and switches at corporate and property locations.
  • Assist with property IT needs on an as-needed basis, including a routine annual visit.
  • Document system configurations, network setups, and software licenses for reference and continuity.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware or software purchases, repairs, and service support.
  • Provide first-line support for software platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, ClickUp, AppFolio, and 8x8.
  • Assist employees with technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and escalate to vendors when necessary.
  • Set up computers and email accounts for new employees and handle account deactivation during offboarding.
  • Track and manage IT requests and priorities to ensure timely resolution.
  • Help enforce basic IT policies, such as password management, device usage, and backup procedures.
