About The Position

An IT System Administrator provide evaluation, recommendation, design, implementation, administration, maintenance and support of a diverse set of information technology systems that support Intrepid Operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum two (2) years in IT-related work
• Working knowledge of multiple types of software including: Office 365 Suite, Symantec, Mimecast, Ellipse and Avamar

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science or other equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-level technical assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues via ticketing system, phone, and on-site support.
• Coordinates user setup and assignment of cellphones and other mobile devices, new equipment warranty work, and provides insurance replacements
• Deploys software and equipment to employees, and maintains tracking log of deployed hardware.
• Provides staff support for administrative tasks and projects relative to the Desktop, company applications, Wide Area Network, Local Area Network, VPN and Telephony functions
• Perform basic networking activities such as patching, cable tracing, switch port identification, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Perform other duties as assigned
