About The Position

Trihydro applies innovative technology and IT solutions to support our business operations and mission to deliver high-impact environmental and engineering outcomes. We are seeking a talented IT Systems Administrator to maintain and enhance our Microsoft 365 and SharePoint platforms, provide advanced support to end users across the company, and contribute to IT operations and governance. This role works closely with the Network and Security Team to support reliable, secure systems and reports directly to the Help Desk Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience supporting Office 365 environments and administering SharePoint (Online).
  • Proven ability to provide technical support across a global or multi-site environment, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 services, Active Directory, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint administration tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, server administration, and endpoint support.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver technical information to non-technical users.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, compliance frameworks, backup/recovery systems, and governance models within SharePoint and Office 365.
  • Prior experience in professional services, consulting, or multi-office corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to end users for hardware, software, network, and system issues; troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents in a timely manner.
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for escalated Helpdesk issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, and cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving Microsoft 365, Windows endpoints, network connectivity, printers, VPN, and mobile devices.
  • Serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 support staff; mentor and assist with troubleshooting and resolution strategies.
  • Administer and support the Microsoft Office 365 platform including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, and associated collaboration tools.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize SharePoint sites, site collections, libraries, lists, permissions, and governance policies to meet business needs.
  • Coordinate data migrations, content creation, and changes across SharePoint sites and other collaboration systems.
  • Create and manage user accounts, security groups, and access permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and support resources for end users; deliver training on SharePoint and O365 capabilities.
  • Work with IT leadership to assess, test, and implement new IT solutions and enhancements to improve operational efficiency and security.
  • Track, document, and resolve incidents and service requests using the Helpdesk ticketing system while meeting defined SLAs.
  • Participate in testing, evaluating, and deploying new IT tools and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership on process improvements, standardization, and technology roadmaps.
  • Support company-wide IT initiatives related to security, business continuity, and operational efficiency.
