About The Position

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for independently managing and maintaining the organization's cloud infrastructure, network systems, and physical security technology. This position serves as the primary administrator for Microsoft 365 cloud services, Ubiquiti UniFi network and security infrastructure, and Windows and Linux server environments. The role includes providing technical helpdesk support and mentoring staff on technology best practices. The IT Systems Administrator reports to the Director of IT Services.

Requirements

5+ years of IT systems administration experience.
Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID).
Experience with IP based cameras and physical access control.
Experience with virtualization platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in Windows Server administration and working knowledge of Linux systems.
Proficiency with Ubiquiti UniFi network equipment.
Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall management.
PowerShell scripting/automation skills.
Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non technical users.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Hands on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi network equipment (switches, access points, gateways) strongly preferred.
Relevant certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified, CompTIA Network+, or similar
Additional scripting skills (Python or Bash).
