About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to join our technology team. This mid-level role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience managing hybrid cloud environments, Microsoft 365 services, and Cisco Meraki network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems across cloud and on-premises platforms.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, governance, monitoring).
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).
  • Cisco Meraki networking (MX, MS, MR).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid identity.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within continental US, up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Microsoft Azure Administration
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure (VMs, VNets, storage, backups).
  • Monitor system performance and implement cost optimization strategies.
  • Ensure security and compliance using Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
  • Manage hybrid connectivity (VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute) and disaster recovery (Azure Site Recovery).
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive environments.
  • Manage user identities, licenses, and access controls via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Implement and enforce security policies (MFA, conditional access, DLP).
  • Use PowerShell and Graph API for automation and reporting.
  • Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune, JAMF and Autopilot provisioning.
  • Cisco Meraki Network Operations
  • Configure and maintain Meraki MX, MS, and MR devices across multiple sites.
  • Manage VLANs, firewall rules, ACLs, and site-to-site VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance and respond to alerts and outages.
  • Troubleshoot DHCP/DNS, routing, and connectivity issues.
  • Systems & Infrastructure Support
  • Administer Windows Server (2019+), Active Directory, Group Policies.
  • Maintain DNS, DHCP, IIS, and SQL Server environments.
  • Support backup and recovery systems (e.g., Veeam, Azure Backup).
  • Collaborate with security and application teams to ensure system integrity.
