Location: Beverly, MA (Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site required) Type: Full-Time The Role We are looking for a proactive, people-first IT Systems Administrator to manage our modern, cloud-first infrastructure. As our team is largely dispersed, your primary mission is to ensure that "it just works," whether someone is logging in from their home office in California or our headquarters in Beverly, MA. This isn't just a "server room" job. You will be the architect of both our remote & in-person employee experience and the go-to expert for onboarding technologies, security, hardware, MDM management. If you enjoy translating complex technical hurdles into easy-to-understand solutions for your colleagues, you’ll fit right in.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in an IT Admin or Systems Engineer role supporting remote or hybrid teams. 5+ years experience in Help Desk tier 1 and/or 2 troubleshooting.
  • The Big Three: Deep hands-on experience with Google Workspace , JumpCloud , and Jamf is highly preferred.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills. You should be able to explain an IPSec VPN tunnel or a problematic pop-up to a non-technical person without making their eyes glaze over.
  • Problem-Solving: A "find a way" attitude. You enjoy digging into logs just as much as you enjoy helping a teammate with a broken webcam.
  • Presence: Ability to visit the Beverly, MA office regularly for hands-on hardware tasks and office support. Additional paid travel required to other locations, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Remote Enablement: Manage and optimize our cloud-based tech stack to ensure seamless connectivity and security for a hybrid workforce.
  • On-Site Hardware Management: Maintain the local network, conference room AV, and hardware systems at our MA, TX, and NM locations.
  • Identity & Access (IAM): Administer JumpCloud, Jamf, AD, & more to manage user identities, MFA, and secure access to all company resources.
  • Device Management (MDM): Use Jamf & JumpCloud to automate the deployment, imaging, and security patching of our fleet (primarily macOS).
  • Communication & Training: Host "Tech 101" sessions for new hires and create clear, jargon-free documentation to empower employees to troubleshoot common issues.
  • SaaS Administration: Act as the primary admin for various SaaS tools, managing everything from complex application issues to working with 3rd party vendors to come to a speedy resolution.
