About The Position

As an IT System Specialist, you are responsible for providing first-level resolution of device, network, and software issues, while also supporting infrastructure, server environments, and end-user technology. This role serves as a primary contact for contracted locations, ensuring prompt troubleshooting, documentation, and escalation of technical issues when needed. Requirements

  • AAS degree in Information Technology or equivalent of 4-6 years of help desk/technical support experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server, and network infrastructure.
  • Advance knowledge and work experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, residents, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Provide first-level resolution for devices, networks, servers, and software issues; act as a point of contact for team members, vendors, and users when dealing with enterprise applications and platforms.
  • System Setup & Maintenance - Install, configure, and maintain desktops, servers, networks, and mobile devices, including performing software upgrades and managing hardware inventory.
  • End-User Support & Training - Assist and instruct staff in using technology tools, ensuring smooth adoption of hardware and software platforms, while documenting all interactions in the ticketing system.
  • Vendor & Project Coordination - Collaborate with IT vendors, support contracted locations, and assist with IT-related projects to ensure timely implementation and effective solutions.
