About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Part-Time IT Support Specialist to support our growing healthcare organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping staff with technology, and maintaining smooth day-to-day IT operations. The position focuses on Microsoft systems management, mobile device setup, and troubleshooting technical issues for staff across the organization.
Requirements
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Apple iOS devices (iPhones/iPads)
- Familiarity with Windows computers and device management
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical staff
- Prior experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting small or mid-sized organizations
- Familiarity with HIPAA or healthcare environments
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) tools
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update Microsoft systems and products, including Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Windows devices
- Ensure Microsoft updates and security patches are applied across company computers and systems
- Set up, configure, and maintain Apple iPads and iPhones for staff use
- Maintain device inventory
- Troubleshoot mobile device issues, email setup, and application access for staff
- Provide technical support and help desk assistance to employees experiencing hardware or software issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and device access across company systems
- Assist with device deployment and replacement, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones
- Support Microsoft Teams and SharePoint usage within the organization
- Ensure devices are compliant with basic security and privacy standards, particularly for healthcare operations
- Coordinate with external vendors or IT partners when additional support is required
- Maintain documentation for systems, devices, and IT procedures
