Requirements

  • Strong technical experience with Windows, Android, iOS-based end user devices, networking, printing, phone systems and application software configuration, installation, testing, maintenance, and support.
  • Specific experience with Windows 11, Meraki networking, Dell computers, Windows Server OS, printers, and conference room/AV equipment.
  • Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing network equipment, Windows servers and workstations, and Active Directory.
  • Proven track record of deploying and supporting technology.
  • Ability to train end users.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple competing demands.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal day to day supervision.
  • Experience administering Office365 accounts and provisioning/supporting Azure/AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned email inboxes and internal communication platforms (including Microsoft Teams) for updates, instructions, and action items.
  • Partner closely with onboarding teams, hiring managers, vendors, and other stakeholders to plan and execute successful hires, system migrations, and IT deployments.
  • Conduct IT onboarding and training sessions for new hires as needed.
  • Perform site assessments to determine hardware, software, networking, and peripheral requirements for new or existing facilities.
  • Ensure all IT equipment, hardware, software, and voice/data services are ordered, configured, shipped, installed, tested, and functioning as expected.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including shipping and receiving of equipment.
  • Serve as the escalation point of contact for application issues with vendors.
  • Install, configure, and support hardware and software across network infrastructure devices.
  • Gather requirements from end users to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
  • Install and maintain antivirus software, ensuring virus definitions are current.
  • Perform server administration and support, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, print services, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance by verifying patches, updates, and system health for servers and workstations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and processes.
  • Participate as a member of the Help Desk team, providing day-to-day customer service and end-user support.
  • Respond to and resolve incoming service desk tickets via phone, web portal, and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Triage service queues and prioritize incidents and requests according to defined SLAs and standard workflows.
  • Utilize established tools and processes to manage daily workload efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
