About The Position

IT Support Specialist Part Time Parkway Auto Group is currently looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of IT, the IT Support Specialist is responsible for responding to tickets related to hardware and software, managing accounts and device records, and coordinating equipment distribution. The IT Support Specialist will work collaboratively across departments to meet all IT needs. As part of this role, you should expect these responsibilities to be a part of your day-to-day: Triage and respond to tickets. Remotely support and troubleshoot hardware and software. Communicate via ticketing system, virtual meetings, phone, email, and chat. Printer Maintenance and repair Configuration of New Computers and Hardware Manage user accounts, licenses, and devices. Coordinate the distribution of company equipment. Create and maintain documentation on our knowledge bases. Train users on secure use of technology Stay up to date with best practices in the IT industry. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of computers, security, networks, printers, and systems administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, on the spot problem solving
