About The Position

The IT Deskside Support professional provides technical assistance to employees within an organization. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and maintaining computer systems, and assisting with upgrades and network connectivity. Collaborate with IT teams (Local, Regional, Global). How your time is spent, common tasks and activities: · Check the list of incidents in stock for HQ and remote sites · Work on resolving the oldest most urgent incidents · In case of user incidents, interact with the user (or remotely) to repair or bypass the issue · Enter technical resolution details in the Service Now tool · Partner closely with Endpoint Management, Security, Identity, and Messaging teams to design, deploy, and optimize M365 client services at scale. · Setting up Audio Visual setup for Client Meetings, Events in HQ · Updating documentation of processes as technology/solutions change to ensure quicker remediation/configurations. -5%25 Travel (when necessary) to branches, customer On Sites, cores, etc for on-site interventions Work will be completed mostly in the HQ · Travel will be required in other locations (cores, branches, …) as and when necessary, as agreed with management. What we are looking for: · Service-oriented, team spirit, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to synthesize information · Good listening and writing skills · Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and collaborate with global teams · Sound understanding on troubleshooting Windows Client systems: Hardware issues, Operating systems – Windows 10/11 · Sound understanding on troubleshooting native MS Office Client applications · Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services and Office 365 client applications. · Print issues troubleshooting – paper jam removal, network configuration · IT Infrastructure Network concepts · Audio/Video Systems setup and troubleshooting skills

Requirements

  • High School Diploma + 2 years of education in IT
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent command of the Windows environment, Office Suite + Office 365, Outlook email system, incident management tools, and remote-control tools

Responsibilities

  • User incident diagnosis and resolution
  • On-site user assistance and advice
  • VIP support
  • Management of local workstation inventory
  • Assistance with the installation of workstations, peripherals, and software
  • Assistance with the distribution and support of mobile phones/tablets
  • Support for printers and video conferencing systems
  • Testing of installed equipment
  • Updates to Asset Management information
  • Generating Asset Management reports, coordinate with business to address any gaps such as asset reclaim
  • Updates and closure of incident tickets
  • Managing Lifecycle Management for Security Tools on Endpoints
  • Assisting / Setting up Audio/ Video equipment for events in HQ
  • Assisting with Teams/365 configurations and troubleshooting
